Grid

Cad Transform provide an editable adaptive grid.

Shortcuts

• G Enable / disable snap to grid.

• SHIFT + G Enable “local” grid, at active constraint plane and enable snap to grid.

• ALT + G Move grid using 1 to 3 points.

• ALT + G, ALT + W Reset grid location to world.

Edit

In order to edit grid location / orientation use ALT + G.

You’ll be able to move the grid, then align x axis, and last y axis.

At any time you may confirm and exit using SHIFT + LEFT MOUSE button or SHIFT + ENTER.

Tip

Local grid is perfect to set an axis aligned “snap from” for a rotation.

Reset

Use ALT + G, then press ALT + W. The grid location will be reset to world origin.
